As trade shows were shutting down in 2020, OTC Daihen, Inc. made a dramatic pivot to a virtual show with zero hesitation. OTC called upon ECI to leverage our skills, and new virtual platform, VExP, through NEXT Lab. Their proprietary virtual event was created within three months, equipped with live sessions, valuable resources, 1:1 meetings, chat options, and a safe space for attendees to utilize these offerings.
Due to the disruption COVID-19 caused to face-to-face marketing in 2020 and early 2021, many in-person events have been rescheduled to the 2nd half of 2021. Should you participate in a rescheduled face-to-face event even if the next regularly scheduled event will be held in nine months or less?
With the help of ECI’s NEXT Lab team, the Kellogg’s Away from Home K-12 team created their own proprietary, virtual event amidst the cancellation of the School Nutrition Association Annual National Conference in summer 2020. This case study details their decision to go virtual, and ECI’s solutions for how to create a virtual event platform which provided a memorable and engaging attendee experience.
