Museums

Few sports venues are as iconic as the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. When their historic museum closed in 2023 to undergo massive renovations, Exhibit Concepts was among those chosen to help with the 100,000 ft² renovation project.

In addition to fabrication, the team at Exhibit Concepts also helped spearhead the design and interpretation of the 5,000 ft² rotating gallery space located in the lower level of the museum.

Now Stay Tuned

Building on the earlier success of the first rotating exhibition, Exhibit Concepts was again trusted to update the space with a renewed focus. Now Stay Tuned is dedicated to showcasing the efforts that go into broadcasting “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing” every May.

The immersive gallery moves guests through key eras of race coverage, from the IMS Radio Network and ABC’s Wide World of Sports to today’s FOX Sports broadcasts. Legendary race calls, dynamic graphics, digital engagements, and hands-on moments invite visitors to hear and relive the iconic moments.

Best of the Best: Four-Time Winners

Tasked with planning, designing, fabricating, and installing the debut rotating gallery dedicated to the four-time winners of the famed INDYCAR race, Exhibit Concepts drew on its years of experience to craft a custom storytelling experience.

Partnering with Interpretive Planner Mary Seelhorst, the exhibit profiles legendary drivers A.J. Foyt, Al Unser Sr., Rick Mears, and Helio Castroneves. The space features an array of vibrant fabric graphics, curated digital engagements, immersive photo opportunities, and a variety of artifacts, including four race-winning cars.
