The Johnny Appleseed Museum
Museums
Building on a more than decade-long partnership with The Johnny Appleseed Foundation, Exhibit Concepts was trusted to help pioneer a complete remodel of their newest gallery. Retrofitted inside a historic 1800s home, the Exhibit Concepts team embarked on an interpretive analysis. Once the museum’s mission was established, designers got to work crafting the modest, 1,500 sq. ft. space to best tell the story of Johnny Appleseed. Completed in 2023, the project aims to promote a better understanding of the folk hero and encourage visitors to adopt the noble traits he displayed.
