Supreme Court of Ohio, Exhibit Concepts Extend Partnership

Supreme Court of Ohio Visitor Education Center

Exhibit Concepts is proud to continue its collaboration with The Supreme Court of Ohio. The long-time partnership recently culminated in the design and fabrication of three separate exhibits for the state’s highest court. The new additions, found in the Thomas J. Moyer Ohio Judicial Center Visitor Education Center, include “Tuskegee Airmen: Portraits in Courage,” “Justices in Uniform,” and “Opening Your Door to a Career in Law.”

Each of the exhibits brings an important story to life, enriching the educational experience for the more than 10,000 students and adults who visit the center each year.

“Tuskegee Airmen: Portraits in Courage”

Showcases five original oil portraits by Delaware County artist Robert E. Tanner, celebrating the bravery and achievements of the first all-African American unit in the Army Air Forces.

“Justices in Uniform”

Pays tribute to the 42 Ohio Supreme Court justices who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, spanning from 1804 to 2001, reinforcing the deep connection between military service and the judicial system.

“Opening Your Door to a Career in Law”

A dynamic addition that invites visitors to explore career opportunities within the legal system. Through interactive storytelling and engaging displays, guests gain insight into the diverse paths within the profession, from judges and attorneys to court reporters and law enforcement personnel.

Partners for more than a decade, Exhibit Concepts was honored to once again be trusted to help tell The Supreme Court of Ohio’s story. Given the compact exhibit space and need for durability to accommodate heavy foot traffic, Exhibit Concepts sought to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches that would ensure a lasting and impactful visitor experience.

“The Visitor Education Center is a gateway to understanding the state of Ohio’s judicial system,” says Bill Martin, Senior Director of Project Management at Exhibit Concepts. “We were honored to help create exhibits that celebrated service, justice, and the law while also inspiring future generations of civil servants.”

This most recent collection of projects builds on Exhibit Concepts’ long-standing reputation for designing and fabricating immersive and educational permanent environments. By combining award-winning exhibit design with compelling storytelling and world-class craftsmanship, the Exhibit Concepts team helped make The Supreme Court of Ohio’s Visitor Education Center a must-visit destination for those looking to better understand the legal system and its impact on Ohio history.

The Visitor Education Center is open to the public during court hours, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guided tours are also available.
