Case Study:
Engineering Impact at CONEXPO 2023
The Client: Regal Rexnord is a global leader in power transmission and motion control solutions. With a portfolio of industry-leading brands—including Falk®, Rex®, Link-Belt®, SealMaster®, and more—Regal Rexnord delivers complete, integrated systems that help industrial clients drive productivity and reliability in mission-critical applications.
RESULTS OVERVIEW

The Need:
For CONEXPO 2023, Regal Rexnord needed a high-impact 50′ x 30′ split island booth that communicated their value as a Power Transmission Solutions Provider. The exhibit needed to:
Showcase a Wide Range of Product Demos: The booth featured interactive displays across multiple categories—bearings, gear drives, motors, and more—allowing attendees to engage with Regal Rexnord’s full product range in a hands-on, informative way.
Highlight Integrated System Solutions: Rather than presenting isolated parts, the exhibit emphasized how Regal Rexnord’s technologies work together as complete, system-level solutions for industrial applications.
Maximize ROI with Smart Reuse: Key components from previous shows (Pack Expo, AHR, ProMat) were reused and reconfigured, helping reduce costs while creating new, tailored display areas specific to the CONEXPO audience.
Incorporate Immersive Digital Experiences: Large LED walls and touchscreen kiosks brought products and processes to life, offering deeper insights and drawing attendees into the booth through dynamic, tech-driven storytelling.
Ensure Easy Navigation Around Machinery: A thoughtful layout ensured strong traffic flow and accessibility, even around large demo units, allowing for smooth attendee movement and uninterrupted engagement.
The Solution:
Exhibit Concepts created a bold, product-forward exhibit that seamlessly blended architectural storytelling, modular flexibility, and interactive technology:
Architectural Elements & Structure: At the center of the booth was a working aggregate conveyor, flanked by a 4×4 tile LED wall and an expanded back closet for AV and storage. SEG fabric graphics and lightboxes supported the core brand message: “Stop seeing individual parts. Start seeing unlimited possibilities.” New visuals like the “Product Cloud” and “Powertrain” illustrated the systems integration story.
Product & Demo Displays: The booth featured distinct product zones with custom demo stations, including a Quadrive Shaft Display, 3-tier Bearing Demo, Chain Demo, Planetgear Station, and RexPro Demo on a steel bench. Lightbox graphics and touchscreen kiosks mapped solutions to real-world applications like cement processing.
Wayfinding & Flow: Three defined demo zones anchored the space, creating a natural visitor flow and clear product segmentation. A central reception counter and two bar-height seating areas encouraged relaxed interaction and in-depth discussion.
Technology & Visual Engagement: An oversized LED video wall showcased looping brand and product content, while strategically placed touchscreens enabled deeper dives into system configurations and specifications.
Finishing Touches: Coordinated bar tables and stools, greenery, and consistent branding across signage and displays gave the space a polished, professional, and approachable feel.

The Takeaway
At CONEXPO 2023, Regal Rexnord delivered more than a showcase of industrial strength—they presented a vision of cohesive, system-wide performance. With a mix of rugged product demos, engaging digital content, and elevated brand presence, the booth positioned Regal Rexnord as a complete power transmission partner—and demonstrated that in this industry, seeing the full system matters more than the sum of its parts.
