Regina, who has been with Exhibit Concepts since 2017, first started as an account manager before working her way on to the NEXT Lab team. From DIY projects to the matriarch of a military family, Regina is opening up in our latest “Faces of ECI” profile.

When did your career at Exhibit Concepts begin?

I started at Exhibit Concepts in 2017, as an account manager on the exhibit house side.

Explain your role?

My role at Exhibit Concepts is multi-faceted. I am primarily the Operations Manager for NEXT Lab. I see the project from the beginning, I disseminate information across all departments, and I make sure everyone has what they need.

What do you like most about Exhibit Concepts?

What I like about Exhibit Concepts is taking something very tangible from design all the way through fruition.

What are you most proud of at Exhibit Concepts?

My proudest moment at ECI was when we had to transition from physical tradeshow to digital tradeshow. We had to change the way we approach all of our projects. Everything we thought we knew had changed. We rose to the occasion.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE...

Favorite food?

My favorite food, absolutely, is bread. All bread! Every bread!

Favorite Band or Musician?

The band U2. I have seen them in concert about five times in two different continents. I would see them again tomorrow.

Favorite movie?

My favorite movie is ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.’ I just think it’s a great, imaginative film come to life.

Favorite author or book?

I’m a huge Harry Potter nut. I love Harry Potter. I’ve read the series several times and I’ve seen the movies. It’s my favorite.

What are your secret talents?

I am surprisingly good at DIY projects. I love doing home improvement. I love outdoor projects. We’ve remodeled our whole home from 1974, refinished floors, we’ve done it all.

What is your ideal place to live?

I really don’t think there is an ideal place to live. I’ve lived in a lot of places, and they all have their pros and cons. I think it’s all about the relationships that you build and the experiences that you have.

What is a superpower you wish you had?

I would love to have a photographic memory. There are so many things I wish I could go back and relive and remember and I just can’t quite remember them all.

Who is 1 person you’d want to have dinner with? Past or present?

The one person I would want to have dinner with would be my grandma. She was a huge inspiration for me. She was in the Women’s Army Corps during World War II and she was a woman way before her time. She didn’t have children until she was 35, she didn’t get married until she was 35. I would just love to have a conversation with her as an adult.

What charitable cause is important to you?

The most important charitable cause for me is the USO. Having been a military family for 20 years and my son is now also active duty, the USO has helped us out over the period of a 13-year war. We just love to give back.
